Little &@*$£rds!

I think maybe it's worth doing a post about community cctv and how grouping together can massively cut the costs of personal CCTV.

A fella on our estate managed to help the police ID a burglar and his system cost about £200. Still an expensive purchase but if you split the cost between two houses, you can bring your costs down.

waited in all day for the

waited in all day for the police to visit - and im still waiting,
reported the incident at 9.50am this morning -
phoned a few minuets ago to see why the delay- now been told may not have a police visit at all.
the police office will visit all households in the street to find out if anyone heard/saw anything- and then phone me... to reasure me.....thing have been looked at.
well ive done that bit of investigation for them - no-one in the area saw or hear anything.

apart from the been mad about the cars and a van at least £2000 worth of damage done to them, im not happy about a wasted day waiting in for nothing.

HI ya sorry to hear about the

HI ya sorry to hear about the damage that was caused, not only is it upsetting being the victim it makes you even more frustrated when dealing with the Police. A couple of weeks ago I was run off the A500 by an articulated lorry there was loads of damage to my car he got away with a slight dent in his bumper. At the time I called 999 and requested that the police attend I was told because we were not obstructing the flow of traffic and that there had been no injuries they did not have the resources to send out a patrol car. All the years I have been paying my council tax which goes towards the Police and the one time I really needed them they did not have the resources to attend. This makes me so mad because when dealing with the insurance company it would be so much easier with a Police report. Good luck catching these scum bags, if it is kid’s hope their parents have got shiny new cars that you could go and scratch.

thanks bj-dj. so in furture

thanks bj-dj.
so in furture its worth knowing to stop in the middle of the road to make sure you are obstructing traffic -so the police will come out to the incident.

one thing that is maddening is the amount of police officers at any port vale matches . Burslem is full of them standing around.

OMG Big Society policing or

OMG Big Society policing or militias as they used to be known. Is that really what people want to happen next?

That's really unfair on B's driving lessons. I wish there was a electronic way of doing a whip around.
