BS Bikes Limited looking to relocate down the road to Newfields (the old Garage/Furniture Shop) *by Powerhouse Gym Tunstall

In an effort to expand the business BS Bikes (Application 51445/FUL), who are the main dealers of Triumph Motor Cycles in Staffordshire and employe several local people, are looking to relocate their business down the road to 525 High Street, Sandyford, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.

They are looking to take over the old garage/furniture shop across from Powerhouse Gym, and use it use to motor cycle dealership including sales, servicing, repairs and MOTs. (525 High Street, Sandyford, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 5PB)

The premises that have lane empty for a long period have also been considered a source of anti-social behavior, drug dealing and have been a general problem for residents in the vicinity, so a new firm locating here might be a good way of removing this problem.

I've emailed the shop today and have received many reassurances about the premises and locating the bike shop there, and the noise it might generate.

• One of the main reassurances was that bikes are presision instruments so the use of power tools to work on them. 
• Testing is carried out by computer, so the need to rev the engine to loud extremes, it's not necceasry.
• Bikes are delivered flat packed, so there is no noisy unloading
• They have been in their current premisies and have good relationships with neighbours
• The only negative thing Bob says that people say is about parking which shouldn't be a problem at the new premises
• Bob has invited people with concerns up to the shop to see how they operate (the coffee machine is free)
