A new toy, gaming gadget is coming to town, and like the previous Nintendo DS it's the same sort of hand held duel screen gaming device. But it has a difference.

Like the new TV's that allow you to experience the same 3D effects as you do since the film Avatar came out, this little device will be giving you the same experience.

But there is a difference. Nintendo have built a very special screen that means you don't need glasses to play it and see the effects. They've even built a little slider that lowers or turns the effect off if your eyes are getting tired.

Ever since I first saw this announced in the middle of last year I've really wanted to own one (if your reading Mrs Web Monkey - cough)

After what seems like a very long wait, the device is on it's way here, and you can pre-order the Nintendo 3DS it from Asda

Not only do you get to play games in 3d, you can also record footage via a built in 3d camera.

Featuring the traditional dual-screen, the top 3.5-inch gaming display is designed to produced crisp 3D images, while the bottom 3D-less display works as the touch panel. The sleek little machine also promises improved graphics capabilities over previous DS models, as well as incorporating new motion-sensor controls, which Nintendo is confident will lead to “interesting new gaming ideas from developers”.
