Earth Hour tonight 8:30 - Switch your lights off (Someone warn the maternity unit to ban holidays in 9 months time)

Earth Hour tonight aims to get the world to switch it's lights off for 1 whole hour, in a bid to raise awareness about considerate energy consumption and was started by the World Wide Fund for Nature.

The wife was horrified that the TV would be off, but I reassured her that it's just the lights, we don't want to cause a national emergency.

Remember 8:30 - turn your lights off (this doesn't apply to cars driving)
