After being asked to stand in the council meeting today and speak about the Goldenhill's community group's attempt to being some colour and life back to the area being hampered by another Residents Group, Sandyford & Goldenhill Residents Association was pleasantly surprised to find the said planter have now been put back in place.
Great news for all of those involved in campaign, and thank you for common sense being restored.
The Out and About Club can now focus on other projects for the area involving both old and new to in the hope if restoring a sense of community spirit back into the area.
Nice one Chris & Co.

Thank you to everyone for
Thank you to everyone for your support and help in trying to make our Goldenhill community a little brighter and more cared for.
For helping our club to put the pride back into our village with small lovely changes such as daffodils and seats and visable planters of flowers on our High Street.
In these difficult economic times it is good to beable to lift community spirit give a little hope and cheer to not only our goldenhill community but to visitors and the many hundreds of people who drive through our village every day
SMALL CHANGES DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Thank you
Chris
I drove through this morning
I drove through this morning heading out of the city, and they made a world of difference. Congrats to the Out and About members of Golden Hill for all of their hard work. I like the motto by the way, and I think you were very brave to put your case forward. Can I ask why your community group are getting so many complaints from the other group? I cant see what you are doing wrong.
