Hi,

I noticed there’s a banner ad on this site for a company called Groupon. I just wanted to make you aware of how good Groupon is.

The basic principle is, they offer certain deals with various companies for activates, and if enough people sign up, you get the deal of the day at a really good rate. You usually get a voucher to use within 6 months or so.

For example a couple of weeks ago I bought and hour of indoor rock climbing for £15, and today I bought 50 laps of Go-karting for £15.

I get the offers for Manchester, so its usually an hours drive / day out of a weekend. Well worth it if there s a few of you / older kids / birthday treat.

It's free to register with Groupon, and they send you emails daily with various offers.

I had the ad rep from Groupon phone me up so I put it on the site, and since then I've had the opposite impression. I just think it was shite. When ever I visit the Stoke page, all it says is no offers.

Could be that I don't understand it, but if the groupon website only leads me one way, then I can't help feeling the user experience was poor.

However Macks, based on your testimonial, I will give it another chance.
