and he blames cuts on the 106 officer not being employed..

you should know by now why the likes of Ward and Ryan are making a song and dance about your S106 money, there is an election looming, and once again, the same sad old dross is desparate for your vote.
S106 money is a part of the contract between contractor and council, as the contract is a legal document, so is the agreement for the S106 money. The council have no right to take that money away, when the contract was signed , it should be clearly stated what the S106 money was intended for.

Brian sums up here what is wrong with the council. How long have we being harping on about this now? 12 months. It's not our job to take it to Cllr Ward, it's the officers and other Councillors involved to take it to him.
It would have been helpful if someone suggested in all of the communications that he was the bod to speak to, but no one ever has.
He knew he was on a hiding so swiftly moved the topic onto 106 money owed to the council, and that's where the rest of his focus then lay. The whole show was about money not being used properly, and the council not having a clue what to do with the cash once they have it. I'm not surprised the company didn't want to hand the cash over. That is until Pete Morgan, tackled him again and again about missing 106 money. There is no point starting to get on your high horse when we have a more than valid claim.
Two things here that need doing.
Some very minor fence repairs, which are part of the maintenance contract, and a better plan in place for the grass cutting. That's all. It's not 10,000's of work each year, it's a small fraction of the missing pot. The council don't seem to get that though, and by doing that, have shown the holes in the system.
So where are we now, another councillor involved, another 106 officer (who was rather new to the job anyway) lost (that's a couple now, all taking the much needed knowledge with them).

So Cllr Brian Ward does not know about the Bankeyfields missing 106 monies despite all the noise that we have made. Despite Cllr "Leave it with me" Ryan taking up our case and telling us it has been spent. Oh no its in a central pot. Oh no there is £5000 left. Despite the reports in the sentinel. Despite the representations that we have made at the RA forum meeting. Oh yes most of that descussion was left off the minutes.
Now the 106 officer is not in post anymore but it is Ok because most developers pay up. Question who make sure the councill spend the monies correctly then ?.

Was Cllr Ward not aware that the Councils own media and coomuncations officer has been very aware of our problem over the 106 monies.Even warning us as to libel. Can I say that as it was a phone call that we recieved and it was not in writing so we have no proof.
I wonder who tipped him off over that one. !!!!

The other thing, is do we wait until the next elections as if we start down the route of talking to Brian Ward, chances are high he won't be elected next time around, so there maybe little point.

I would never have guessed that the Ciir who was taking up our case (well sort of ) would try to slow us down !!!. I will remember that on election day.
We might as well give Brian Ward a chance to redeem him self. It may be another 18 month or two years to find someone who says they are responsible for something.
Please note there is a difference between responsible and accountable. I do believe the latter does not exsist in the local council.

She would like me to relay that the issue she raised with communications wasn't actually the complaint that we received via the contact us form.
The complaint was about something libelous said about her by one of the posters. This had been pointed out by someone at the council. The post was not the one Bryn made, which were the target of the councils request to remove.
So there you have it a complaint about possible liable posting about Megan, became a complaint about another potential liable comment posted by Bryn.
If this tells us anything, the council ranging from officers to Councillors are reading our blowing off steam.
Good, I just wish they took some more notice.
