Reports from residents in Sandyford, mainly Ridge Road saying that a number of youths are causing trouble around the streets of Sandyford.
The incidents include verbal abuse, threats, hand gestures all aimed at local residents.
This is an on going situation which the Police are aware of, and have asked local residents to report all occurrences of ABS to either 0300 123 44 55 or in emergencies call 999.
It now looks like we are about to enter the silly season again, with youths having no respect for the local area and being able to get their hands on large quantities of drink.
Remember if you don't report it, the police can do nothing.

And this is the problem.
And this is the problem. People aren't reporting alot of ABS, for untold reasons such as:
They're young give them a break, they've not done anything I'd not have done when I was a kid. It's happened now, it's too late to report.
If you call 0300 123 4455, just make a simple report. You aren't wasting police time, they'll access the problem and deal with it.
Just phone, if you know the history of the places these kids congregate, such as regular broken glass. Just report the fact that they are drinking and you think they are underage. Get a neighbor to report in as well.
