Sponsored Walk around Park Hall Country Park
The Friends of Park Hall Country Park are helping to raise funds for Weston Coyney Junior School by organising a sponsored walk around the park. The school has recently had three mini-buses burned out by vandals and although they have secured a replacement vehicle, they need to store it in a garage to ensure it doesn’t happen again. The walk, which is 2.3 miles long, will take place on Sunday 27 March and will last approximately one hour. It will start at the Park Hall Country Park Visitor Centre and will take a circular route around the park. There are three start times for the general public -10am, 11am, 12pm and 1pm. For more information on how you can take part in the walk, or to simply make a donation to a worthy local cause, call the visitor centre on 01782 331889. Sponsor forms are also available at the visitor centre.
