[UPDATE] GALLERY- The very last Wildplay, Wildplay Celebration Event this Saturday @ Westport Lake
Starts
Hello Wildplayers!
Well, we are nearly coming to the end of our three-year Wildplay project, and to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has attended and supported Wildplay over the last few years we are inviting you to our spectacular Celebration Event this weekend!
Gallery of the final day.
It's at Westport Lake 10am-3pm, and there is going to be heaps of exciting activities for you all to take part in - see the poster attached! Please bring all your family and friends and spread the word! If you can stick the poster up in your local neighbourhood/school/place of work!
If you are a Children's University passport holder - bring it with you! As most of the activity providers are all CU Validated activities, so you can get a sticker/stamp for each activity you do. How good is that?!
Finally, we are hoping that we can continue Wildplay across the city for years to come so need as much support as possible. We'll be gathering comments and photos on the day which we can use in upcoming funding bids.
Hope to see you all on Saturday, and fingers crossed for a bright, sunny day
‘Let’s celebrate playing outdoors!’
Activities will include - crafts with Hanley Team
Ministry and Stoke Museums Service, willow weaving
with Willow Arts, object handling with Brampton

This is such a great shame.
This is such a great shame. WIldplay has brought nature to 1000's of Stoke on Trent kids in ways that they've never experienced before, that their parents couldn't show their kids.
Wildplay will be really missed and I just want to say what an amazing job Jenna and the other wildplay leaders have done these past 3 years.
The amount of tales that my children have told me about the woods and the activities and the variety of trinkets they've made or feeders in the back garden will be a testament to how much the sessions have rubbed off on them.
I wish all of the Wild Play staff good luck, and I hope that one day spring can come to Wildplay and allow it to grow again.
Best Wishes, see you Saturday
Matt
