Our new Capoeira course is open to young people and adults. No matter what your fitness level or experience, if you are interested in finding out what capoeira is all about then this course is for you. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form which fuses dance with martial art and is a great way to get fit and active.

Developed in the 18th Century by African slaves in Brazil, Capoeira was a means for slaves to preserve their culture and overcome oppression. Nowadays, Capoeira is played all over the world and is celebrated for its message of social inclusion.

This is a five week course held at Floral Hall, Tunstall Park.
