[FOUND] Urgent Missing Person Appeal, 89 year old Stoke-on-Trent Lady has gone missing [FOUND]

Police in Stoke-on-Trent are asking members of the public to contact them if they saw a missing 89-year-old woman this afternoon.

The woman was last seen at around 2.30 pm at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent by a member of staff. She is described as white, slim build about 5ft 7 tall with a hunched back. She has short curly grey/white hair and was wearing dark trousers, a light green cardigan and was carrying a black handbag.

The woman has been unwell recently and does suffer from problems with her memory and may appear to be confused.

Sgt. Chris Cole said “We need anyone who may have seen the lady this afternoon to contact us, it’s possible she has caught a bus or taxi and we are checking with local businesses in the area who may have seen her.

I need anyone who was in or around the hospital site at around 2.30 pm today (Saturday 7 May) to contact the police on 0300 123 4455 if they saw a woman matching the description.

We have a significant number of police officers searching the area and the force helicopter ‘Air One’ has also been supporting the operation.”
