Kids digging up Park now!

Just come back from taking the dog for a walk around the park area. Came past the sofa and two chairs at top off summerbank road, down the steps when I spotted 3 lads, one with spade in hand digging a terrific hole and moving the earth so they could build a little ramp to run their bike over. The lad with the shovel is the lad with a brother, blonde long hair always on a bike and his mother is the one who looks very "hard" and "worn out" often seen walking through the estate along John Rhodes Way.

Anyhow, I told them to stop, and put the earht back which they proceeded to do, but this hole had to be a foot deep and about 4ft round so I told them I'd check later. I don't know if they will fill it in, I doubt it.

This is anti- social

This is anti- social behaviour and should be reported especially as it was witnessed by someone, I have been passed the area and they have made a poor attempt at filling the hole in.

There are holes appearing

There are holes appearing every where, with one magically sprouting in the paddock last night attracting loads of bmx bikers.

I've got to agree with Ian. Yes they shouldn't have dug a ruddy big hole, but in their own "DIY" way they're telling us the kind of things they'd like in the park area.

I've said on a number of occasions to Rich H that the dads should get together and build some ramps around the park.

They only thing that could scupper this is if a child came off their bike and hurt themselves and the parent sued.

Saying that my Mum and Dad never sued when I came home with ripped knees, chin, clothes and so on.

I agree with you Matt health

I agree with you Matt health and safety gone mad but when we were kids a few house bricks and some wood made a good ramp we didn't have to dig holes everywhere.
