Norton Green Village Website

I've recently had an email from the web master of a lovely local site called http://www.norton-green.com asking if I could take a look.

I was really impressed with what I found, and although I've only ever passed through Norton on the the way to Leek, I found myself taking a look and being impressed with what I saw. In fact I was quite envious about some of the site as it highlighted something that I'd love to do and that is to build up pages about some of our older buildings and collect their history into one place.

The site contains a wealth of information about the area including a lot of interesting historical information, genealogy of certain families, local news, events and so on.

The site has a guest book, and I was amazed by the number of ex-pats coming on their looking for present day common descendents and information ancestors. Something I thought was an interesting concept.

Definitely one to book mark.
