Wild Flowers - Bankeyfields Openspace - Colourful Gallery

A few people had mentioned the flowers at the foot of John Rhodes Way by the mini roundabout, but I'd not really paid any attention, that is until I saw a photo on Facebook by one of the residents.

It's really nice to see so much colour on the estate, it makes it look really welcoming.

Have these plants ever appeared here before or has someone planted them.

After going to the Car Boot

After going to the Car Boot sale this morning I had a wonder down to John Rhodes Way to have a look at your wild flowers they are just great. So colourful and pretty, someone has been sprinkling seeds of wild/cottage garden flowers (you can get them in huge bags from garden centres) there are a few in the grass as you go up to the cemetary (Chatterley Rd) but nothing as nice as yours. I am green with envey, but living in a terrace house I do know my limits and Wild/Cottage garden flowers are one step to far even for me.

Such pretty wild flowers, you

Such pretty wild flowers, you were lucky to be there at the right time, we saw very few flowers as there had been a drought the year we were there.
