As you can see from the photos a fence has been put up (erected) at Bathpool to try and deter all the sausage jockeys and knobgobblers from using the area for inappropriate behavior. Unfortunately the fields and bushes on the opposite side to the fence are now being used as this has not been fenced off so the problem hasn’t really been resolved.

It is a Blue Roan Cocker

It is a Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel named Reckless if you were to stroke him there would be no surprises. Whilst walking along the path I did hear strange noises coming from the tree’s sounded like a cockatoo.

So it's an English Blue Roan

So it's an English Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel rateher than an American nutcase Cocker spaniel. Nice dog. Is it well trained? Do you think it would get on well with my Staffie and German Shepherd?

When I was a child, I lived in Kidsgrove and every Sunday morning my Dad would take me for a walk around Bathpool whilst poor Mum was at h0me cooking the Sunday dinner. It was a long walk from Bourne Road to Bathpool and when I moaned about my legs aching, my Dad would say, 'To rest is not to conquer.' which I always thought was a quote by Julius Caeser but turns out to be a line in a film called 'The White Tower' Then again, he used to tell me that anything 'old' was built by the Romans. I have spent most of my life believing that part of Knypersley Pool was an ancient Roman baths. ( We later moved to Ball Green, so our Sunday walk was to Knypersley Pool.)

I can't see how it deters

I can't see how it deters them, they have their own private area to lift shirts without fear if being stumbled upon.

Homophobia in suburbia, I

Homophobia in suburbia, I think the term is gay. I always thought the car park looked spotless. Probably keeps the teenagers away who like to make stuff messy. Not my cup of tea, but is there really a major problem down there.
