Congratulations to Ian Norris for tracking down the 10mph sign on the now closed Bridge over the canal down Chemical Lane.

I was trying to capture a decent sunset picture after the Sunset had happened after some advice from a local photographer and mate told me you can get some really good results.

Whilst I was on the bridge I had a long chat about photogrpahy with another passer by learning more about taking snaps in half an hour than I had in half a year.

I didn't get the picture I wanted that evening but when looking back and saw the 10mph with a bit of detail in the background I know I did get a decent where in shot.

Tunstall detectives out there hopefully you can track down this one. Good Luck

Yep, that's the one, Chemical

Yep, that's the one, Chemical Lane bridge, now shut off to all traffic except motorbikes. A very handy shortcut (Harewood Street to Chemical Lane)it was to, especially during the bad snowfall of 2004. Shame some dippy lorry driver totalled it a year later. Not as missed as it used to be since the council opened up Chatterley Road to two way traffic again.
