new build on the site of the former St Johns infant school ,Burslem

for many years the land that onced housed St Johns infant school , Card street .has laid empty apart from the over grown weeds .
once a much loved school for the local children for many years the school closed in 2001 .
building work is well on the way to use the land- as you can see from the photos,
one neighbour has said they are social houses , another said they are to be a womans hostal.

at one point when the school building was still standing.local plans/thoughts were to have a Victorian school museum .

its good to see brown fields build on again.
