Attempted theft at Asda in Tunstall
Police in Stoke-on-Trent have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an attempted theft at Asda in Tunstall.
Officers are appealing for information after the man tried to purchase a PlayStation 3 with fake Asda vouchers on May 15 at approximately 1.40pm.
Fortunately, staff were able to identify the vouchers were fake before the transaction took place and the man left the store empty-handed, getting into a silver Toyota car.
The man is described as Asian and was wearing a red top that appears to say ‘Adidas’ in white writing under a jacket. He was with two other Asian men.

Do the police have to wait a statutory lenth of time before putting this kind of thing on line?. I have trouble remembering what I was doing last month never mind 5 months ago and I am sure alot of people will struggle with the date of this attempted theft, but saying that I hope someone recognises him and reports it to the authorities.
