over the last couple of weeks, one of Burslem long standing eyesores is been removed.
after many years of standing empty the unsafe, unsighty metal building opposite to St Johns church on Woodbank street , is at last been demolished.

perhaps this land will stay empty for many more years, but at least the area will look slightly better.

If they could just flatten

If they could just flatten everything between the top of Moorland road and Newcatle street and everything between scotia road and waterloo road, tarmac it and make it into a park and ride for Tunstall, then I think it would look even better.

Sorry Dereth, you are right

Sorry Dereth, you are right of course. I hope I haven't offended anyone.

Of course you have offended

Of course you have offended someone, you have offended the one person who attempts to bring us all the good stuff about Burslem. Dereth tries her best to make us see it through her eyes and I for one enjoy reading about it.

It was good to see this

It was good to see this eyesore removed, it had looked a mess for far too long. Just hope something can be done in that end of town and its not just left overgrown
