Babakhans of Tunstall Balti House Review

Babakhans is a new Indian Restaurant that has opened on Tunstall High St. next door to Morning Fresh. It opened in September and seems to be a big hit with everyone that has eaten there.

Myself and Ian have now eaten there 4 times and have been delighted with the food every time.
There are meals on the menu that I have never come across before and I am slowly working my way through them. What I have tried I can honestly say that I was very pleased with my meals and that everything was cooked to my satisfaction. The chef will cook to your liking, I like a mild but tasty curry but Ian likes them hotter and we have both been very pleased with our meals.

Last week it was raining so we decided to stay in and have a takeaway, there was no compromise, once again the meals were delicious. The owner Tariq and his waiter are very friendly and welcoming.

I usually hesitate in recommending things to other people, but with this place I will make an exception. Every person that I have recommended it too has only had good to say about the place....one person now coming from Newcastle to eat there.

The last couple of times we've been there we noticed that a lot of asian people were either eating in or getting takeaways, always a good sign.

Its a jewel in the crown of Tunstall.
