The Poppy appeal is also under way with manned collection points in all the supermarkets in the area as well as Tunstall market...
On Sunday we will be meeting at the Goldenhill community center at 9.30 am to Parade around the village.
The parade will then stop off at the church for a service then dispersing from the community center.
Refreshments will be provided at community centre.
There should also be a collection point there.
All are invited to this event.

There are also dozens of unmanned sites ie pubs, clubs, shops and other business centers. People can make direct donations to the RBL by visiting the home website at http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/.

Having managed to get hold of the Vicar the following is happening on Sunday:
The above mentioned event at Goldenhill, short service in Church at 10:30am followed by Act of Remembrance
There is also an event in Tunstall Memorial Gardens at 10:30am Sunday.
