a school reunion gathering has been organised for student who left Moorland Road High School in the years 1983 to 1985.

Guests may bring partners or friends PLUS all those that attended the reunion last year are also welcome to this one.

Accommodation is available at this hotel for guests who are travelling from outside the area....or, who would just like to stay over, please contact the hotel for prices and to arrange reservations.

Hi Dereth,

I attended Moorland Junior High School from 1963 to 1968. One of my class mates was called Dereth Green and she lived on High Lane somewhere. She was best friends with Janice Sherwin, I think. That's not you is it? You appear to be younger. Wasn't your Mum was it? My maiden name was Susan Bloor and my closest friends were Pat Bennett, Carole Smith and Susan Challinor. Does anyone know the whereabouts of any of these people? I know that this isn't Friends Reunited,but it's worth a try.

Hi Tilly, have you tried the Moorland High school group pages on Facebook? Or you can do a name search on Facebook to see if any of your friends happen to be on there? I left in 1983 so do not know your year I'm sorry, but there are a lot of people on Facebook who previously went to this school and are in the Moorland High school groups all the best, Julia

Thanks for your suggestion about using Facebook but I wouldn't know where to start - bit of a dinosaur, I'm afraid. My limit is emails with attachments. I'm a bit scared of Facebook to be honest.
