Donkey Derby
to be held at the
Cobridge Community Centre, Bursley Road.
Friday 9th December 2011 at 7pm
Auction,
Irish Bingo,
open the box-and many more prizes
Adults £2
Children £1 (must be accompanied by an adult)

i went to this, not knowing
i went to this, not knowing what a donkey derby was..
but thought id go to support it.
dont think ill go one again - abit to noisy for me, but i did win a £5 voucher for the yorkshire fisheries.
i now know what Irish bingo is too,

I'm curious as well, didnt sound like it was a great event
the event raised a good
the event raised a good amount of money from what i saw. so it was a big success , just not my idea of an enjoyable evening. if you like the "working man club" or " holiday camp" type of atmosphere then the event is for you.
donkey derby is a race from one point to another - using the hobbie horse/donkey things , a line up of 5 or more people race each other - but they have to jump to the winning post.
funny to watch ,
Irish Bingo is having a bingo card- standing up and if the caller shouts out any number on your card you have to sit down. so last person standing wins .
there was - play your cards right game too, this was popular ,
the organisation was good - please dont be put off going to an event like this because i said it wasnt for me.
