Independant shops - Best Christmas window displays - 2011 WINNER ANNOUNCED
if Stoke-on-Trent had a competition for the best Independant Shop Christmas window display then LTB Furniture Outlet on Waterloo Road would be highly recommended every time.
throughout the year this family run business now in its 25th year of trading have wonderful window displays,
and as Burslem do not have any Christmas street decorations this year it seems more fitting that the shops that can put an extra effort to brighten the street and road.

It is so good to see the
It is so good to see the family run shops dressing their windows for Christmas. As I was growing up a few of my relations owned their own businesses, and I remember them taking a lot of time and trouble to dress their shop windows. Always wanting to be the most impressive in the street, and taking pride in the results. If I think back I cannot remember lots of fancy street lights, but I do remember queues to see Lewis's Christmas windows and go to Santa's grotto, and if mum could afford one being lucky enough to get a present from Santa.

I was born in the forties in waterloo road in burslem,when I was young it was a busy happy place with lots of little traders,over the years the area became very rundown,but during the last ten years it seems to once again have become a thriving happy place,so it is nice that little shops like LTB have taken the time to dress the window and make us smile.Next time you drive from Burslem to Hanley look around and you will see a vibrant place made up of people that originate from all over the world all with different cultures.I am proud of my roots and I am pleased to see the area where I was born is once again LOOKING GOOD.

I've just popped into Freeport, Talk and although the centre was dressed really nice with Christmas Bling, not many shops had made an effort.

I am the owner of Spellestial Gift Store in Longton and I am sooo pleased that my window display has made it onto this site, We are a family run business set up by myself and my mother in honour of the passing of my father.. who sadly past away from a heart attack while driving on the motorway in November 2007.. We have a cracking team on our staff and we are greatful that you should think our window to be good enough to place it on your website..I am sure my father would be proad thank you ever so much.
