Another Club Closes

Whilst out playing indoor bowls at Knutton Ex Servicemens club last night I learned of yet another club that had shut its doors for the last time, the club in question being Burslem Workingmens Club, we knew they were having some problems, the two bowls teams had been advised at the start of the season to find new venues but, it is still very sad to see or hear of clubs that have been well liked and visited many times by myself over the years to become just another statistic, also if this keeps on the indoor bowls league are going to find it very hard to keep finding new venues to play the games at. And this does not help Burslem with yet another empty building to fill.
