It is 17.40 and I have just had a phone call from 01234765093.
The man did not have an English dialect. He said he was from PCT Optimisers regarding viruses that can be down loaded to my computer. He asked me to turn my computer on and he would talk me through running the virus check for me.
Needless to say I told him "no" and I ended the call. This phone number has called a few times before but the line has always been silent.
This is obviously a scam to get personal information from my computer.
Please be causious

At this point he got a little edgy and said he wasn't trying to scam me, just fix the problems reported. We tried again and got I reread the first result and asked him again if he really was trying to scam me.
He then said they don't deal with time wasters (well it's true) and said he was going to put me through to a technician.
Bored, I hung up. They tried to phone a bit later, but there was little point to be sworn at.
