Bankeyfields - be on the look out as thieves climb cemetery fencing to attempt to steal a bike from a Hurricane Grove home
A home with small children on Hurricane Grove, Bankeyfields were left terrified as a a hooded teenager gained entry to their backyard via Tunstall Cementary, climbing up a 15ft fence surrounded by confiers.
The bike was dropped when the home owner shouted out and the person left the property.
A description of the youth could not be given to the police and SOCA could find no finger prints at the scene.
One witness said she saw a gang of 6 hooded teenagers near to the scene .
As nothing was stolen Police have closed the case but it's worth pointing out for people to make sure valuables, sheds, bikes are secured.
Residents who witnessed any unusual activity on the evening of 24th April 2012 around the Tunstall Cemetery, Hurricane Grove, Jacqueline Street, Summerbank Rd, Broomhill Street, Knight St, Clay Hills, it would be nice if you could pass any information onto the police via the 101 telephone number.
