Car blaze destroys three cars in Furlong Road

DETECTIVES are investigating after a blaze wrecked three cars and threatened to spread to nearby homes.

Firefighters were called to Furlong Road, Tunstall, at 4am on Saturday following reports of a car fire.

It is believed the blaze broke out in one vehicle before spreading to two other cars and damaging the front of a fourth.

All cars were parked in two adjoining driveways at the time of the incident.
