Diamond Jubilee Queen Bears on sale in Tunstall Market
To celebrate the queen's Diamond jubilee, Ye Olde Teddy Bear Shoppe, in Tunstall Market are stocking a limited edition Great British Teddy Bear Company "Elizabeth" Diamond jubilee bear.
The "Elizabeth" Bear is a very special Bear to mark this historic occasion, having created a bespoke 2012 luxurious jacquard fabric. On a pale silver ground we have skillfully woven our Royal Commemorative 2012 Diamond Jubilee crest in white satin thread.
Her Majesty is wearing a full-length tailored dress with a pleated skirt and split cuffs finished with miniature pearl effect buttons. To celebrate her Diamond Jubilee Queen Elizabeth will be wearing her famous Vladimir’s Tiara a pink satin sash and the Royal Brunswick Star.
Rather than a traditional mug, this limited bear is a much more personal and potentially better rewards on future episodes of the "Antique Road Show"

Store owner Lyn, has also donated one of the bears to the Tunstall Market Jubilee celebrations where it will be on of the prizes on offer.

Yes, very nice if you like that sort of thing, I personaly dont like my bears to have clothes on, I dont mind them having somthing on their pads to say they are a commemorative bear. I must say they are more reasonably priced than the Steiff ones I have been considering. Their Titanic Bear, Olympic Bear and Diamond Jubilee Bear all retail at £200 plus each.

Yes £150 to £200 and they are brand new, They are supposed to be a limmited edition collectors bear but they are not done in small numbers they are made in Thousands so it will be a long long time before they become a Rare Bear!!. I dont think I will be bothering to purchase any of these.

Lynn I agee with you the Beefeater costume is very well made so are the others and at a price most new collectors can afford, if you are going to have a momentoe of the diamond jubilee why not have a bear.
