Has anyone seen Sid from Mustang Close??

view counter
Hi folks, Has anyone seen Sid our ginger cat from Mustang Close? He is a huge cat who weighs just over a stone, wearing a red collar. He was seen around some houses up by the park area on Wednesday. Sid is a rescue cat who is currently under vet treatment so it is important that he gets his medication. We also have Sids sister at home and she is pining and looking for him. He is lazy and loves to curl up and sleep, could we ask you to check sheds, garages etc. With many thanks Sids family X

No luck as yet Web Monkey - thanks Redgirl for PM - we have checked and it is their cat, but thanks so much anyway. I suspect he has made himself at home somewhere - will keep looking. Thanks again

Am I right in thinking the elusive Sid has gone on walkabout before or have I got the wrong puss??. As I am going out in your area later today I will keep my eye open for him but I doubt if he has ventured far from your estate on his own steam my hunch is he has found a new place to hide and will be back as soon a the novelty wears off. Come Home Soon Sid.

hi Sue

thanks for your message, our other cat Tom (also rescued) has wandered before and sadly on the last occassion has not returned, its always a worry as it was at the time when cats were being poisoned locally. Sid does love the great outdoors and also his creature comforts, seems odd for him to have been gone this long as we have his twin Mimi and they are very close,

many thanks for keeping an eye out

HI All

i thought i would let you all know that Sid returned home yesterday evening in quite a bad way. He was limping and was distressed. He has been to the vets this morning who have said that he has been hit by a car and is lucky to be here. He's had 2 jabs and some medication and the next 48 hours will be crucial as to whether he will be ok. He has a dislocated hip and some scuffs to his face and claws. He is very alert though and was trying to play earlier on. We're just so thankful that he made it home so hopefully we've given him a good chance. Many thanks again to you all who took the time to look. Fingers crossed he will be ok.

xx
