Same Day Loans Scam

A Stoke on Trent resident has been contacted by a company called Same Day Loans claiming to be based in Stoke on Trent offering them a £5000 loan.

The caller had all the residents details and asked for a first installment of £115 upfront using a UKASH voucher and then £5000 would be paid directly into their bank account.

The money was never received.

Always check details, the telephone number given was a London number for a Stoke on Trent company!

Be wary of companies asking you to use UKASH vouchers as there is very little chance of getting the money back.
