Scam: Cold call selling discounts at a local restaurants

Neighbourhood Watch groups have been warned about  a suspicious phone-call  received at the end of last week.  They were called by a male offering a VIP card which they could use to obtain discounts at a local restaurant. 

The caller asked for credit card details, but hung up when challenged by the watch member. 

Please remember to never give out any personal information, such as bank details over the phone.  If you receive any calls of this nature please decline and end the call immediately
