After a sebatickle and brand new reboot, Tunstall Scouts, located on Broadfield Road, Sandyford will be starting it's Beaver unit once more.
Beavers offers young people a chance to play and be part of the bigger cub scout community, broadening their horizons and giving children a head start.
Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. Beavers belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday.
12th City of Stoke on Trent & Newcastle 3rd Tunstall Scout Group have 17 Beavers which make up 3 lodges, Oak, Chestnut and Pine. Beavers meet weekly on a Thursday evening from 5.30pm - 6.30pm.

Some of the fun activities that 12th City of Stoke on Trent & Newcastle 3rd Tunstall Scout Group (Tunstall Scouts) Beaver group have carried out in the last 12 months include:-
- Taking part in the Remberence Day Parade and Church Service
- Wall Climbing
- Taking part in normal and christmas crafts
- Taking part in team and individual games
- Taking part in a unit craft day
- Cake and biscuit baking and decorating what has been made - then eating what has been made
- Taking part in the St George’s Day Parade and Service
- Completing badges - Safety Activity Badge, Creative Challenge Badge, Animal Friendly Activity Badge
- Helping to look after new Beavers to the group

Just a reminder that Tunstall Beavers based along Broafield Road in Goldenhill relaunches tonight from 5.30pm to 6.30pm so if your child is aged between 6 and 8 (of if your 5 1/2) make or female, feel free to pop along and Julie will make you feel welcome and has a great programme for tonight lined up.
