London 2012 Olympic Ceremony - Video Highlights
You've got to hand it to the London 2012 Olympic Organisiers, that was an amazing opening.
Danny Boyle didn't just prove to the entire planet that he's a master film maker, good selection of music but the can put on one hell of a show, probably the best show on earth. So unless you're a wannabe US Presidential hopefully, or some loud mouth Cannock Tory Aida Burley (probably ex Tory after the Nazi uniforms and now the biggest gaff of his career). Sheer genius.
After the huge build up, the brilliant array of world class atheletes concluding with team GB, The Queen, (we'll miss out the speeches) to the lighting of the Cauldron (what a design), finished off with Sir Macca sing my all time favorite Hey Jude.
Nows time to get behind the nations heros.

Fantastic opening ceremony
Fantastic opening ceremony highlighting everything that put the Great in Britain, the industrial revolution, steel works the mining industry and the NHS but unfortunately this government and previous governments have destroyed them all. Cameron and his band of merry men should take a good look at the opening ceremony and draw strength from everything that once made England a truly GREAT NATION instead of being the Lap Dog to Europe and Brussels.

I fully agree it was fantastic, it told a story we understood or so I thought untill I got into conversation with some young girls who didnt understand what all the chimney things were about. I had to laugh the following morning on the breakfast program someone had tweeted "they thought it was too British" WHAT!!. it was OUR past how can it not be British. I am just wondering if Danny Boyle is having a hand in the closing ceremony and if he is going to try and forsee our future.? that could be interesting. I had my doubts as I am sure alot of others did as to what we could expect but loved everything about it, the story,music and razmataz, and the Queen as a Bond girl,Majic.

Immense attachment! I missed the live telecast of the gorgeous opening of London Olympic :(. So I'm extremely glad to view the show in a short form: D. Thanks for the clipping of wonderful evening.
