I was really pleased to hear the Stoke Lions on the doors aticipating that they think they'd broke even on Sunday, and in doing so keeping the prospect of the Tunstall Carnival alive for another year.
Again, they organised a extremely well thought out day of events and activities for all age groups, and although I wasn't quite as taken Joseph Peace fire stunts as I was with Jez Avery, it was time for a change to the line up.
The band were really good, and it was good to see so many people line up to listen to them.
Of course the most special of guests had to be the rain and hail. What would a Tunstall Carnival be without it, and if anything did wonders for getting people into stalls. (Special thanks to the sweet stall who gave the kids sheltering under their stall the bags of Candy Floss, very very kind)
Thanks also to Ian Norris (http://iannorris68.wordpress.com/) for the use of his images in the collection.
