can anyone suggest a nice picnic area within of S-o-T .or around the 10mile mark away.
as a kid our family picnics were on Rutters farm fields in Norton or we'd all pile into the car & have a short drive about- when our parents had enough of us arguing in the back of the car . they would stop at the nearest country road lay-by and we'd have our picnic there .

We had a picnic in Tunstall Park a few weeks ago, it was really nice.
