Brave little Ruby Owen passed away this afternoon

I've been asked by Popeye (Gordy) to pass on some really heart breaking news onto you all.

Gordy's neice, Ruby Owen passed away peacefully  this afternoon after such a long battle with cancer.

Ruby has had such a long journey through her too short life, going through countless operations, waiting until money could be raised for pioneering work on her brain tumours, to getting the terrible news that the tumours had come back and surgery failed to removed them.

Ruby will always be remembered, and her plight never forgot. She's been one of the bravest and most spirited people to grace this earth and will be sadly missed by all who knew and knew of her.

My deepest sympathies to all of Ruby's Family.
