Stoke Youth 2013 workshops launch

The 2013 Stoke Your Fires Film Festival will be returning to the city next year. Planning is already well underway for the full festival programme and organisers will be releasing more details about film screenings, activities and workshops in the near future. The festival award programme is now open for submissions. This year, there are seven categories across the world of film and animation.

Closer to Home walking events around the city
The Closer to Home Walking Network deliver a comprehensive walking programme that targets specific areas and population groups in Stoke-on-Trent. These short health walks are led by experienced volunteers, are completely free and take place every day around the city’s beautiful parks and greenways. Walks usually last between 30 and 45 minutes and are for all ages and abilities. They also have a programme of special events over the Easter holidays.
