First and foremost Happy New Year, we hope you had a very festive and relaxing break. But fear not, as New Year passes the countdown to the season begins in earnest. So with just 99 days to go until the first game here’s a little update from Shelford Road.
- Quiz season is now back up and running with Stephan Shemilt the Quizmaster on Friday 25th January 2013, 7.30pm start so come on down and support the club.
- Seniors Nets have now started and are at the YMCA in Hanley on Sunday’s between 9am and 11am, so take this chance to approach April in the best possible shape! Cost £5 for Seniors and £3 for U17s
- Junior Nets, also at the YMCA in Hanley will start on Friday 25th January 2013, the format for these will be U13 age group between 7pm and 8pm and then U15s and U17s between 8pm and 9pm. The cost for this will be £3. More info on U9s and U11s will follow shortly.
As the nights get lighter and the weather gets drier (hopefully) we will be having a number of working party’s in March and April in order to get the ground in shape for the 2013 season so please keep an eye out for our reminder emails, it’s a vital time to get The Ford looking in tip top shape and many hands make light work – your attendance will be appreciated.
