Who got caught out just? We were all upstairs and I bet you can guess where the torches and the matches were! Hubby also tells me now that there are 3 torches in the garage and one in my car. Must plan for emergencies better.

ah, not good! Seemed like a pretty widespread outage too - I'm up in Goldenhill and popped my head outside and it seemed the whole town was out. Thankfully didn't last too long though as my favourite TV show ever was just about to start (Dancing on Ice). We were alright for light here though as the Christmas decorations are still up - thank goodness for battery operated fairy lights!

Not too bad, as we happen to have one in the utility room from camping that hadn't made it back to the garage, although we didn't have a decent one upstairs other than a bike light.
Nipped down to check on a neighbour and the lights on RMW were still working though - will be interesting to see what caused it as we don't have them go off that often the occasional flick but not go off.
