Road traffic collision in Burslem
A car has collided with a wall resulting in significant damage and the car’s driver being injured.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to High Lane, Burslem shortly before 12.30am today.
A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “A man in his thirties was cut free from the car by the fire service. He had a cut to his head which was treated at the scene. He was immobilised with the use of a spinal board and neck collar and was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.”
