Douglas Macmillan Hospice is set to benefit from a star-studded three day concert at Betley Court Farm.
The Junction 16 concert takes place on from Friday 9th August until Sunday 11th August.
Tickets will be sold at the Newcastle under Lyme, Hanford, Alsager, Biddulph, Leek, Meir, Longton and Cheadle branches of Douglas Macmillan Hospice shops.
The event organisers have agreed to donate a fee from every ticket sold at any of eight selected Dougie Mac shops for each of the three days to ensure as much money goes to the Hospice as possible.
Ticket prices are yet to be confirmed, with a retro themed Friday planned with some of the country’s most well known pop stars.
Saturday will target a younger audience with a day of pop music, with Sunday featuring great local performers and other artists from right across the country.
The site will allow just fewer than 15,000 visitors for each day as agreed with Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council.
George Bailey from Junction 16 said,
“We are delighted to be supporting the Dougie Mac in what promises to be a concert to remember.
“The money going to the hospice from ticket sales will help them continue to provide the astonishing service they provide to the local community.”
Liz Clarke, Head of Fundraising said,
“We are delighted to be benefitting from the Junction 16 concert. It promises to be an amazing weekend with loads of great pop stars and entertainment for the whole family.
“We encourage our supporters to get tickets from one of our selected eight shops across North Staffordshire, with a fee from every sale going to the hospice.”
