Golden monument - monument undergoes final light testing

The Golden sculpture, created by Wolfgang Buttress is nearing it's final build stages over in Nottingham.

Lighting tests have now been completed  on the sculpture, which can be seen on the images, highlighting where the bulbs will be attached .

Golden will now undergo shot blasting and patination treatment over the next week, reading the sculpture for it's spring unveiling in Tunstall.

There is still no confirmed date for the move of the  Potteries Pyramid which currently sits on the location that Golden will call it's home, located on top of  the old Goldendale Iron Works.
