Man bailed after Saturday night assault on a women outside The Sneyd Arms

It sounds like it wasn't just kids getting out of hand on Saturday night.

Over in Tower Square just before 11pm Staffordshire Police received reports of an assualt outside of the Snyed Arms. The assualt left one 38 year old women with injuries to her mouth.

A 22 year old man was arrested in connection with the incident a short time later.

A police spokesperson said:

Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

The 22 year old man has been bailed, pending further inquiries, to 17/04/13.

I'd hate to be in his shoes if the people whose tyres were slashed find out his, and his mates names.
