Trentham Gardens

The Race for Life returns to Stoke-on-Trent this summer. The event, which is held in partnership with Tesco, is an inspiring women-only series of events that raise millions of pounds every year for Cancer Research UK. It is the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event series with over 560,000 participants and 230 events across the UK from May to September. The 5k course is non-competitive so it’s not about being fit or fast. You can walk the route, run it or jog it if you prefer. Money raised allows Cancer Research UK’s doctors, nurses and scientists to advance research which is helping to save the lives of men, women and children across the West Midlands. To enter, go to www.raceforlife.org or call 0845 600 6050.
