Douglas Macmillan Hospice is ready to launch its brand new event; Dance with Dougie - Danceathon and World Record Attempt for the largest gathering of people dressed as sunflowers.
The launch event is set to take place on Friday between 5:30pm and 7:30pm at Fenton Manor Sports Complex where supporters can sign up to the event and meet the organisers.
The first 40 signups will receive a free treat from Half Penny Cakes.
Event sponsors Kwik Fit will be on-site for the launch offering free tyre checks and goody bags to people who sign up on the night.
Dance with Dougie takes place on Saturday 14th September from 3:30pm at Fenton Manor. Entry fee will be just £10 with each participant receiving a t-shirt, sunflower headband and a medal.
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day of fundraising for Dougie Mac, as we try to break a World Record and raise £40,000 for patient care.

“We need over 600 people to sign up to break the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as dancing sunflowers.
“The money raised from Dance with Dougie, will help us to continue to provide the highest level of care for local people of North Staffordshire facing a life limiting illness.”
