Hanley Park

Starting and finishing at Hanley Park, the route for the Stoke-on-Trent 10k Road Race follows a closed course around the city's roads.

The route features a run through the City Centre, around to Leek Road, along City Road and up Victoria Street back to Hanley Park.

This is a UKA Affiliated, electronic chip timed event but it suitable for all levels. Every runner receives Medal and T-Shirt. For more information,

Date for the diary… British Ceramics Biennial

28 September to 10 November 2013

Back for a third time in autumn 2013, Stoke-on-Trent’s premier event the British Ceramics Biennial will once again present work from the best of the UK’s contemporary ceramic artists in exhibitions and special events across the city. Taking over the spectacular China Hall at the original Spode factory site, the festival will feature an extensive programme of events for young people, families and adults to have a go and join in making their own ceramic creations. In the City Centre the prestigious Award exhibition will take place at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery whilst new work from local artists will be featured at AirSpace Gallery.
