Douglas Macmillan Hospice supporters will be given the opportunity to bring their donations to various branches of Barclays Bank for Bring a Pound Day on Friday 11th October.
Barclays in Hanley, Longton, Stone, Newcastle, Tunstall, and Cheadle will be selling special cups of tea and coffee in Churchill China’s special edition mug to commemorate the Hospice’s 40th Anniversary.
The supporter will keep the mug, and for £5 paid for the drinks Barclays have agreed to match and donate £10 to Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Liz Clarke, Head of Fundraising commented,
“With Barclays having branches right across North Staffordshire, it gives our supporters an easy way to drop off their donations for Bring a Pound Day. We would like to thank Barclays for all of their continued support.
“All monies raised from Bring a Pound Day will help the Hospice continue to care for local people facing a life limiting illness.”
