Richard Stonier is hosting the final event of his 'Big 40' challenges to raise £40,000 for Douglas Macmillan Hospice, with a black tie ball this Sunday at the Britannia Stadium.
The event is completely sold out, with 350 guests set to attend in the Tony Waddington Suite.
Richard is raising funds for the Hospice in memory of his mother Diane, who passed away last year after receiving care at the Blurton-based Hospice.
The 29 year old is set to complete 40 events this year which have included living in a box for a full week, a sky dive, sponsored waxing, a golf day and a bushtucker trial.
The black tie ball will include a drinks reception, a meal an auction of care and a grand auction.
Signal One presenters Martin Lowes and Jonty Sargeant will also be providing a DJ set throughout the evening.
Liz Clarke, Head of Fundraising commented,
"We cannot thank Rich enough for all of these incredible events and challenges he has undertaken to raise funds for the Hospice.
"Everyone really hopes he smashes his £40,000 target, as it will help the Hospice continue to provide the highest level of care for local people facing a life limiting illness."
